The legal basis of the data processing activities of K&M Congress Ltd. is voluntary consent or statutory authorisation. We need to process the data of the persons identified in section 3.5 so that we can fulfil our commitments to our customers, deliver our newsletters to our participants and send invitations to our programmes.

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the following information: the purposes of the processing; the categories of personal data concerned; the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular recipients in third countries or international organisations; the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored; the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing or to object to processing; the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; information as to the data sources; the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject. The controller provides the information within a maximum of one month from the date of the request.
The data subject may request the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him/her processed by K&M Congress Kft. and the completion of incomplete data.
The data subject has the right to obtain from K&M Congress Kft. without undue delay the erasure of personal data concerning them where one of the following grounds applies:
The erasure of data cannot be initiated if the processing is necessary for the purposes of: exercising the right of freedom of expression and information; compliance with a legal obligation which requires processing by Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller; public interest in the area of public health, archiving, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes; the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Where processing is restricted, the personal data shall, with the exception of storage, only be processed with the data subject’s consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the Union or of a Member State.
The data subject has the right to receive the personal data concerning them, which they have provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and has the right to transfer those data to a third party controller.
The data subject has the right to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning them which is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, including profiling based on those provisions. In the case of objection, the controller shall no longer process the personal data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
The data subject has the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them.
The data subject has the right to withdraw its consent at any time.
The data subject may bring an action against the controller in court in the event of an infringement of their rights. The court rules on the case summarily.

K&M Congress Kft. will only disclose personal data to the authorities in so far as the authorities have indicated the precise purpose and scope of the data, and only to the extent strictly necessary for the purposes of the request.
